Meet the board

Danielle Segar  

Raised in Baltimore, MD, I am a mother of two and a former foster mom with a background as a CNA/GNA (certified nursing assistant/geriatric nursing assistant). I come from a large family with several siblings and over 25 nieces and nephews. Although I've tried many jobs, I found the most fulfillment in caring for others, particularly children.

Initially, I didn't fully comprehend the child's perspective, but my journey as a foster parent provided a unique view. I began to consider the world from a foster youth's point of view—their thoughts, emotions, fear of being displaced, and ending up with another set of strangers, longing for a stable home and family to call their own. In an effort to show the children they weren't alone, I decided to share a piece of my own story.

It wasn't until adulthood that I had the privilege of meeting the David family. Despite lacking any blood ties, this remarkable group exemplified the true essence of family. Their gatherings were celebrations of life's every milestone, no matter how small, and they were always there for each other. They offered food, shelter, transportation, and, most importantly, an unwavering belief in your potential to succeed and become the best version of yourself.

My personal mission is to pass on the sense of belonging and support I experienced with the David family to the young people in Danielle's Forever Family Foundation. I'm confident that as members of our foundation, they'll feel cared for, supported, encouraged, and motivated to achieve the success they're destined for.

Jenee David 

A mother of three and one of three siblings, Jenee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Bloomfield College and brings over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Life Support. Her significant experience and expertise stem from her role as a Permanent Charge Nurse at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she worked on a bustling level 3 maternal child unit. She has a passion for helping young people and young mothers. Jenee holds a deep love and appreciation for family.

Daz Guy 

Daz born in the Bronx, New York and currently resides in North Carolina. He attended North Carolina A&T and works as both a Lyricist and Personal Trainer. He possesses outstanding organizational skills and volunteers his time to help and teach the younger generation.

Attorney Gary Adelman 

Gary holds a degree from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and leads a law firm that specializes in Entertainment and Corporate law. His litigation expertise spans copyright, trademark, and commercial lawsuits in both Federal and State Courts. With his team, he delivers comprehensive services, including Transactional, Corporate, Mergers/Acquisitions investment, Business, Employment, Intellectual Property (overseeing trademark filings in over 100 countries), Litigation, Crisis Management, and in-depth experience in Entertainment, particularly in Music, Content Creation, Internet, Film, and Television.

Gary's extensive experience, forged over years as a first chair litigator, corporate attorney, fixer, and successful business owner (formerly at the helm of Record, Tech, Clothing, and Marketing Companies), has equipped him with the practical know-how and unique insight necessary to offer actionable advice and effective solutions. This ensures he can work closely with clients to help them achieve their objectives.

Gregory Mines 

Gregory completes our team, bringing a wealth of experience from the United States Marines and the security sector. Greg spent his early years in Harvey, West Virginia, before relocating to White Plains, New York at age 11. There, he attended Highlands Jr High and graduated from White Plains High School. Post-high school, he embarked on a journey with the United States Marine Corps. Today, Greg serves as the Resident Security and Safety Officer for The Leffell School in Hartsdale, New York, a role he has passionately held for over 23 years.
